Welcome to my very first blog post. I’ve been waiting months to shoot & share the AMAZING Brooklyn wedding of Nikki & Mike and it is finally here for all of you to see. I was so honored when they asked me to photograph their Wedding. Which was held at 501 Union in Brooklyn, NY.

The couple’s amazing flowers were designed by Mary Ellen of Carroll’s Florist in Staten Island, NY . Mary Ellen also made the gorgeous Floral crown which Nikki wore for part of her portraits.

The day was absolutely gorgeous and the weather was perfect! I got to work with the amazing cinematographers at Majestic Creative Films. They were great to work with! We had so much fun capturing Nikki & Mike take there first steps as husband and wife. Nikki’s creativity and unique style made it a pleasure to photograph every detail that she had planed.

501 Union is a very trendy one of a kind venue to photograph. It’s an entire building of different rooms that truly makes for a unique setting for any event. Entertainment was provided by Sound Explosion Dj’s who kept the crowd going from start to finish. From classic house music to “Shout” the dance floor was never empty.

The absolutely beautiful wedding cake was made by Sweet Sweet Sue’s in Staten Island, NY. This truly breath taking cake was a show stopper as guests could not stop walking over to take a glance and a photograph. Each part was tailored to perfection as to look exactly as Nikki had imagined it.

In the end this beautiful couple had the time of their life and I’m so happy I was able to freeze that moment in time for them so that they can always look back on it.
